Wow, have I been busy lately! I've been getting of work around
10:30 PM and getting home around 10:50 THEN staying up for another 5 hours just to do my homework, then turning around and
getting up at 7AM to go to class (usually late).
Long story short, there is not a lot of time in my world to write! So sorry faithful reader(s)!
Many of you know that I am applying for the Island Caretaker position at ISLANDREEFJOB.COM, and have voted
for me; but if you haven't voted for me yet, please take the time to do so now. Just click this here LINK and then vote by clicking the stars on the right side (5 stars of course ;D)
Thanks for the vote, or thanks in advance, either way you all ROCK!
NOW TO THE MEAT AND POTATOES!
The SEARS TOWER may be getting
a face lift! That's right, the staple of the Chi-Town sky line my be changing. Towering over the city with
an obsolete pride, technology has passed it by causing it to operate embarrassingly inefficient; like disco on skates.
While there is no official word from the owners of the Sears Towers, there is speculation
that the preliminary planes are already in the works. So, start craning your neck to look for the changes. You
should be able to notice some solar panels, and wind turbines going up, as well as gardens on the balconies.
But the last change here could be a real smack to the eyeballs. By "going green"
the Sears Tower may be going white. Yeah, the classic black exterior may be changing to a lighter hue to reflect heat
and conserve energy.
I only go to Chicago once a year, but man, that would definitely be different.
ALSO!
For one of my design classes I had to write a children's book(let) in which I rhymed
"PAST" with "GAS". A little painful? Yeah, I think so.
The rhyme goes like this:
P is for PARASAUROLOPHUS
A Dino with one big horn
Also
for PTERODACTYL
A lizard that was airborne
P is for PALEONTOLOGY
The study
of the past
Also for PETROL
Because Dino bones turn into gas.
You should look for it on my Deviant Art account.
